Director's Message
W. Clement Stone said, “small hinges swing big doors.” In no place is this statement truer than in reference to health; in measures to both protect and cultivate health small actions have a big impact. At its core, a state of good health is the cumulative result of many small decisions and actions made over a lifetime. Obviously, there are exceptions to this statement, but overall it is fair to say that small actions drive good health. Small things like washing your hands, getting enough sleep, being physically active, and vaccinations all have big impacts on our overall health and wellbeing. This next year, I hope each of us will focus more on the small hinges that will open the door to better health.
