About Tri County Health

Our Mission

Protect and promote the health and wellbeing of our communities in Daggett, Duchesne and Uintah Counties

About TriCounty Health Department

TriCounty Health Department has been supporting the health of our communities in Daggett, Duchesne and Uintah counties since 1978; from ensuring healthy environments with clean water to drink and fresh air, to healthy children, families and businesses. TCHD supports families with programs for children and parents, education on STIs and teens, car seats, immunizations and nutrition. TCHD is here for you as you build your home, test a new home or rental, want to eat better and have a healthier lifestyle or desire to quit smoking. Public health works with community partners, businesses and government officials to create opportunities locally for you and your family to stay healthy and enjoy peace of mind as you live, work, and play.

Preventing Illness

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this by having vaccines available with the latest information so the public can make the best decisions for them and their family. Vaccines have prevented illnesses and even iradicated disease over the years. Together we prevent disease. #thisispublichealth

Keeping Each Other Safe

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this by having safety measures in place so we can protect each other from serious injury even with the smallest tasks. Together we can always come home safe to our families. #thisispublichealth

Support for Thriving Youth

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this by providing programs to support youth and parents to build a drug and smoke free foundation of living and having resources available to parents as their kids grow. Together we are support for thriving youth. #thisispublichealth

Partnerships for Health

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this when we work with local physicians, clinics and hospitals to prevent the spread of infection. #thisispublichealth

Preparing Together

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this every time we prepare, when we build 72 hour kits, when we get CPR certified, when we learn what we can do when we have a public health emergency. Together we build a prepared community. #thisispublichealth

Ensuring a Healthy Environment

Public Health is an effort to build a healthy community by preventing illness. We do this together as work with businesses and residents to keep our environments clean. Together we can ensure a healthy environment #thisispublichealth

Maintaining a Healthy Community
