Adults need vaccines too and can be at risk for vaccine preventable diseases.  Some of the vaccines that are received as children wear off and boosters are needed and there also are new vaccines that are available now.

Vaccines to consider are:

Flu, that is recommended on a yearly basis.  Tdap or tetanus vaccines are recommended every 10 years or sooner if injury occurs. Shingles vaccine is available to those over the age of 50.  The pneumonia vaccines are also recommended for those 65 and older or those with underlying health conditions.
