Naloxone (Narcan) Training
This training will give you the skills you need to help save someone who is experiencing an opioid overdose. These classes take 10 minutes and you receive your own NARCAN for despensing in case of emergency of overdose. The public is welcome to call to set up a time for training.
Food handler classes
All people who handle food or drinks must have a current food handler permit to be in accordance with Utah state law.

Certified food safety manager
In order to become a Certified Food Safety Manager in Utah, you must pass an approved certified exam

The state of Utah requires that all on-site wastewater systems are designed by a certified individual.
Virtual Training

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall prevention
Participants will learn Tai Chi movements in a fun, non-threatening environment. We offer in person and virtual classes. Proven to reduce the risk of falls by 70%, each class begins with gentle Qigong warm ups and breathing exercises, followed by learning one-to-two new Tai Chi movements (Forms) each week. The program is free and will meet every Tuesday (1-hour classes) at the Golden Age Center in Vernal from 10 am-11 am starting September 27. We can also arrange other classes for groups; call to discuss details. Check our calendar for more class information.
Certified Pool Operator
Public pools must be supervised by an operator that is certified or recertified by a program of training and testing.
