Communicable Disease & Surveillance

TriCounty Health Department’s Communicable Disease Program works with health care providers, other local health departments, and the Utah Department of Health to minimize the impact of communicable disease on the community by identifying cases, investigating their causes, and implementing efforts to minimize the spread of disease.  Clients may schedule an appointment for testing by calling the department.

REPORTING DISEASE

Utah Law requires that certain diseases and conditions must be reported to Utah public health. Some diseases must be reported immediately while others must be reported within three (3) working days after identification.
