Wastewater System Installer Training Class

We want to make you all aware of the changes in TriCounty Health Department Wastewater Regulation TCHD-WW-0317.  The rule has been amended to address the installation of onsite wastewater systems.  Individuals must be registered with TriCounty Health Department to install onsite wastewater systems as defined by R317-4.  This includes wastewater certified individuals and non certified individuals.

Please review the following criteria for becoming registered:

  • If you hold a current level 2 Wastewater Certification from the state you can be added to the Registered Installers list for a fee of $25.00.  This list will be given to the public along with TriCounty Health Department’s onsite wastewater permit application.
  • If you do not hold a current level 2 Wastewater Certification from the state you will need to do the following:  
    • Attend a training by TriCounty Health Department.
    • Pay a fee of $50.00, which includes training and to be added to the Registered Installers list under the subheading of “In Process” until all rule requirements are met and then you will be listed under Registered Installers.
