A Matter of Life and Death: Fostering Hope Through Dialogue

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and TriCounty Health Department, in partnership with Northeastern Counseling Center, is hosting community meetings in locations across the tri-county health district.

Suicide can be a difficult topic to discuss, and it is our hope to increase understanding, foster hope,  and reduce stigma through discussion. The evening will begin with dinner, followed by a presentation that reflects local conditions and a training in QPR, a theory-based prevention program.

Meetings will be held:

September 26th- Daggett County Courthouse, 95 N 100 w, Manila

September 27th-TriCounty Health Department. 133 S 500 E, Vernal

September 28th- Crossroads Senior Center, 50 E 200 S, Roosevelt

Dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the presentation portion of the meeting to follow from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
